Getting started with Docs
Convert your Kiroku Notes into ready-to-send Docs in one click.
What is Docs for?
Use Docs to create and send letters following your appointments.
For example a:
- Patient letter
- Letter to a referring clinician
- Consent form
- Any other letter you might need!
Adding letter templates to your account
We have stock templates available for a number of different letter types. These can be found in the Docs part of the Template Library
You can add these to your account by clicking the 'Add' button.
If you're not finding what you're looking for in our library, or you have your own template you'd like to use in Kiroku, get in touch - we can build it for you.
The 'Docs' tab
You can see any Doc templates on your account from your Docs tab in the sidebar.
From here you can also see any saved drafts, auto-saved drafts, and the Docs you've sent though Kiroku.
How to create a Doc from a set of notes
To create a Doc you'll first need a completed note - you can generate your Doc from a note you've just finished, or you could re-open a saved draft.
The Docs generator panel can be found in the endzone at the bottom of the note, or, from the button panel on the right side of the screen. It will also automatically open when you press 'Copy notes'.
Select the Doc you wish to generate.
This will take you to the Docs generator interface. Be aware it may take up to a few minutes for the AI to create your Doc.
Once your Doc has been created, you can either edit the content of the Doc directly, or use the AI editor (in the left panel) to make changes.
If you need to refer back to your notes, simply click on the notes toggle. If you spot a mistake in your notes, we suggest saving this Doc as a draft before you go back to edit your notes. You can then reopen this draft document and ask the AI editor to regenerate or update your Doc.
Once you’re happy with your Doc, press the 'Send' button to send it to the recipient directly from Kiroku.
You can also download it to your computer as a PDF or Word Document and send it by any other means.
If you would like to return to a Doc and finish it later, use the 'Save Draft' button in the top pannel to save your Doc. You can then find this the 'Drafts' section of your Docs tab
