Why use AI guidance
Are you finding that your Co-Pilot notes (AI voice notes) are not being categorised in the sections of your template you would like them to be? AI Guidance can help with this.
By adding AI Guidance, Co-Pilot will use your instructions to help decide which buttons to click and what text to write in this section. The guidance itself does not appear in your notes.
If you have custom sections in your template
For the section types typically included in our stock templates (eg. social history, or treatment plan), we have prompts which operate behind the scenes to guide the AI on what information should be included where. If you have a custom or very specific section, our prompts wont cover these and the AI may benefit from further information to figure out what information to add to this section.
For example: You might have added a 'History of Presenting Complaint' section in your exam template.
You might then add the AI Guidance: 'Please add all the relevant detail here related to the history of the presenting complaint e.g duration, cause, exacerbating factors'
If you would like greater specificity/control on what the AI should include where
You can use the AI Guidance to override our background prompts and categorise information differently.
For example: If you would like diet advice added in the 'Social History' section rather than the 'Discussion' section.
You might then add the AI Guidance: 'Please add any relevant diet advice given to the patient here'
How to add AI Guidance to your templates
To add AI Guidance, first open the template in the template editor.
You'll see the AI guidance box in the top right corner of each of your sections.
To see only this and none of the buttons, select 'Collapse sections' from the filter options at the top of your screen. You can then easily navigate all of your sections.
Click on the 'AI Guidance' box for the section you want to add guidance to and add this in the text box provided. Press save.
