Turning off "Add button" or "Update text" options (green underline)

You can turn off "Edits on the fly" to stop accidentally updating your template

Have you ever wondered what the green underline is in your notes? This is a feature we call "Edits on the fly" because it does just that - it lets you make changes to your note template as you are using it.

You'll notice it when you make a change to an element of your template, for example:

  • When you amend the wording of one of your buttons or use the "other" option to write in a new option
  • When you add extra text to a set phrase that's in your template e.g update "Dentition charted" to "Dentition charted and recorded"

How to turn this feature off

To turn off 'Edits on the fly', go to your Settings page and make sure that the "Edits on the Fly" option is set to "Disabled".
