Accessing Kiroku like an App on your computer or device

Create a shortcut to quickly access Kiroku without opening a browser

Kiroku is browser-based, but you can make it feel just like a native app by creating a shortcut that lives on your desktop/device.

This gives you one-tap access without opening Safari or Chrome each time.

Adding Kiroku as an app on your desktop

Chrome and Edge

  1. Open Kiroku in Google Chrome or Microsoft Edge.

  2. Look at the address bar (top of your browser) — on the right, you’ll see a small monitor icon with a down arrow.

  3. Click that icon.

  4. Select “Install” when prompted.

Safari (Mac)

  1. Open Kiroku in Safari.

  2. Click the Share button found in the top right corner of your screen (the square with an upwards pointing arrow).

  3. Choose Add to Dock.

  4. Name it Kiroku and click Add.

  5. You can now open Kiroku directly from your Dock.

iPhone / iPad (Safari)

  1. Open Safari and go to your Kiroku dashboard.

  2. Tap the Share button (the square with an arrow at the bottom of the screen).

  3. Scroll down and select Add to Home Screen.

  4. Give it a name (e.g. “Kiroku”) and tap Add.

  5. An icon will appear on their home screen like a regular app.

Android (Chrome)

  1. Open Chrome and go to your Kiroku dashboard.

  2. Tap the three-dot menu in the top right.

  3. Select Add to Home screen or Install app.

  4. Choose a name and confirm.

  5. It will appear in their app drawer/home screen and launch like an app.
